International Organ Conference : "The Organ in Paris in the 30s" , June 3 to 5, organized by the Paris CRR, the "Observatoire Musical Français Paris-Sorbonne" and the PSPBB

From june 3 to june 5, International Conference on the "Organ in Paris in the 30s", with discussions, concerts, organ visits, featuring, between others, Marie-Claire Alain, Susan Landale, Marie-Louise Langlais, Daniel Roth, Philippe Lefebvre, James-David Christie, Nigel Simeone, Eric Lebrun, Kurt Lueders, Michel Fischer, François Sabatier, Vincent Warnier. Part of the concerts will be held at the Conservatoire (Organ Room) with chamber music of composers organists of the 30s (Dupré, Vierne, Tournemire, Messiaen, Duruflé, Alain) including some Jean LANGLAIS chamber music : "Piece in free form" for string quartet and organ and "L'Arbre", early melody for soprano and piano. To end the International Colloque "L'Orgue à Paris dans les années 30", string quartet Moyaiva (with Yaoré Talibart, Mohamed Hiber, violins, Valentine Garilli, alto, I-Chen Huang, cello) and Tomoko Hikida, organ, will play Jean LANGLAIS "Piece in free form" for string quartet and organ together with melodies by Louis Vierne and Olivier Messiaen.
