Collective book edited by Marie-Louise Langlais and Fred Tulan, in homage to Jean Langlais.The first piece, "Prelude grégorien" is an unpublished work by Jean Langlais, composed in 1979, dedicated to his pupil and friend George C. Baker. Then, the other pieces have been composed byGeorge C. Baker, Jacques Charpentier,Marie-Bernadette Dufourcet, Petr Eben, Jean Guillou, Naji Hakim, Joyce Jones, Anthony Newman, Frederick Swann and Antoine Tisné.

With additional testimonies by Marie-Claire Alain, Catharine Crozier, Lynne Davis, Marie-Madeleine Duruflé, Gerre Hancock, David Higgs, François-Henri Houbart, Jean-Pierre Leguay, Marilyn Mason, Alan Morrison, Thomas Murray, Cherry Rhodes, Ned Rorem, Daniel Roth, Leslie P.
