The theme of Bert van Hertog's program is "life, death and resurrection as associated with the chorale". Opening with the 2nd Chorale by Cesar Franck, it closes with all but one of LANGLAIS's "Neuf Pièces" and his "Mort et résurrection" written in 1991 at the memory of Jehan Alain.
